日本英文学会関東支部では、毎年『関東英文学研究』を『英文学研究支部統合号』の一部として刊行 しています。投稿の際には以下の投稿規定をよく読んで、厳守してください。以下の規定に沿わない投 稿論文については受理されないこともあります。

（1）投稿者は会員に限ります。投稿前に会費が納入済みであること。
（2）投稿論文は過去に公刊されたもの、もしくは投稿の時点で他誌で審査中のものであってはなりませ ん。ただし、既に口頭で発表し、その旨明記してある場合は審査の対象となりえます。投稿締切は 5 月 15 日（必着）です。
（3）投稿の際には、以下の [1] から [3] を別々のファイルとして作成し、WORD ファイル形式（.doc /.docx）、あるいはリッチテキスト形式（.rtf）で保存し、電子メールで提出して下さい。
［1］投稿論文
投稿論文は A4 判用紙を用い、上下左右に余白 2.5 ｃｍとること。フォントは MS 明朝 11 ポイ ント、40 文字 ×35 行で 10 枚以内とする。英語表記には Century、11 ポイントを使用。上記の 長さには本文および註を含むが、論文末尾に加える文献書誌についてはこの制限外とする。 投稿者の名前・謝辞・口頭発表の情報等（カバーレターに記載）は一切書かないこと。
［2］英文シノプシス（投稿者の名前・謝辞等は一切書かないこと）
長さは 300 語以内。英語を母語としない投稿者については、投稿前にネイティヴ・スピーカー による原稿のチェックを必ず受けること。
［3］カバーレター 原稿のタイトル、氏名［ふり仮名つき］、現在の所属、連絡用の住所、電話番号、ファックス 番号、電子メールアドレス、口頭発表の情報、謝辞［必要な場合］を明記したもの。
（4）書式上の注意
［1］外国の人名、地名、書名等は、少なくとも初出の箇所で原名を書く。
［2］数字は半角の数字を使用すること。
［3］註は原稿の末尾にまとめてつけること。
［4］引用文は原則として和訳をつけないこと。
［5］その他書式の細部については The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers などの標準的な最新 版のスタイルマニュアルに従う。
（5）宛先は kantohenshu@elsj.org（メールの「件名」は「投稿論文」、ファイル名は最大 8 文字の半角ア ルファベットおよび／あるいは数字）とします。受領確認後事務局から受領確認メールをお送りし ます。提出後 3 日以内に受領確認メールがこない場合は、投稿論文が事務局に届いていない可能性 がありますので、必ず再送信して下さい。それを怠ったため、審査に間に合わなかった投稿論文に ついては、審査の対象とならないこともありえますので、ご注意下さい。
（6）投稿論文の採否および掲載の時期は関東支部編集委員会が決定します。
（7）校正は原則として二校までとし、初校のみ執筆者が行うこととします。校正時に変更が許されるの は植字上の、あるいは事実関係についての誤りのみに限られます。内容に関する訂正加筆は、一切 許されません。
（8）掲載論文の執筆者用抜刷は 20 部とします。
（9）掲載論文を電子化して公開する権利は、日本英文学会が有するものとします。

　As of 2008, the Kanto Branch of the English Literary Society of Japan is publishing one volume of a journal per year.
When submitting a manuscript, please follow the guidelines for submission as specified below.
（1） Submission of a manuscript will be accepted only from current Members of the Kanto Branch of the Society. The annual membership fee should be paid prior to submission.
（2） No manuscripts which have been published or are currently under review for publication elsewhere should be submitted, except for papers which have been orally presented, provided that that fact is made clear. The deadline for submission is May 15.
（3） On the submission of a manuscript, each of the items in［1］through［3］below should be submitted as separate WORD files（ .doc / .docx） or Rich Text Formatted files（ .rtf）, and should be sent by e-mail（ see below）.
［1］Manuscript
　　 Articles should be limited to 5,000 words in length, including the main text and any footnotes but not the bibliography. No author’s name, acknowledgments, or details of the conference at which the original paper was read should be included anywhere in the file.
［2］English Synopsis（ No author’s name or acknowledgments should be included anywhere in the file.）
　　 Synopses must be no more than 300 words in length. Non-native speakers are advised to have the synopsis checked by a native English speaker prior to submission.
［3］Cover Letter
　　 This should include the title of the manuscript, author's name, affiliation, contact address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, details of the conference（ when appropriate） at which the original paper was read, and acknowledgments（ if any）.
［4］English proofreading
　　 Non-native speakers are strongly advised to have the manuscript proofread by a native English speaker prior to submission.
（4） Notes on Style
［1］Place all notes at the end of the manuscript.
［2］ The style of the manuscript should follow a standard style manual such as The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers.
（5） The manuscript, synopsis and cover letter should be sent to the Secretary of the Society, with “Manuscript for Submission” in the Subject headline. The filename must be 8 one-byte characters or less in length and must consist of letters of the alphabet and/or numbers. After receiving the manuscript, the Secretary will send an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail. If you receive no acknowledgment within 3 days, there is a possibility that the manuscript was not received, so please re-send it. Failure to do so could result in the manuscript not being considered for review.
（6） Decisions of whether to accept the manuscript or not and when to publish it will be made by the Editorial Board.
（7） In principle, authors will proofread once and will be responsible for all corrections. Corrections are strictly limited to typographical and factual errors. In no case will amendments to the content be accepted.
（8） Contributors will receive 20 free off-prints.
（9） The English Literary Society of Japan reserves the right to make published papers available in electronic form.
